The Harvard Undergraduate Venture Capital Group's core mission is to drive innovation by connecting founders with investors. We do so by offering our members the ability to identify promising founders, whose startups serve as successful investments for our Partner VCs.
Executive Board
Our Executive Board coordinates the organization’s operations and ensures the delivery of quality reports to VC partners. The Board guides VCG’s vision of innovation and collaboration between the entrepreneurship and venture capital communities.

Jessica is a junior concentrating in Economics with a secondary in Computer Science. She joined VCG to explore her love for start-ups and the world of software. Jessica was previously VCG’s Director of Strategy where she led sponsorships and directed the Entrepreneurship Summit. Outside of VCG, Jessica enjoys running and is involved in Women in Business and a campus fellowship. This past summer, Jessica was a sourcing intern at PSG and will intern in Goldman Sachs’ private equity division next summer.

Matthew is a junior in Quincy House studying Economics and Government. He oversees all of VCG’s sourcing and diligence efforts. Matthew is very passionate about early-stage VC, having previously interned at Contrary and Exceptional Capital. He is currently an Associate at The Mainstreet Fund. In his free time, Matthew enjoys reading the Bible, playing basketball, and going on hikes.

Jenny is a junior concentrating in Government and Slavic Languages and Literatures. Last year, she served as Director of Marketing, covering media and photography, having worked with XFund to promote Sam Altman’s campus keynote. Beyond VCG, she is also a Research Assistant for Integrity Initiatives International, writes for the Undergraduate Law Review, and volunteers with the Russian-Speaking Students Association.

Jai is a junior in Pforzheimer House, concentrating in Social Studies. As Vice President, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization with a specific eye towards VCG’s strategic initiatives. Outside of VCG, Jai is a Muay Thai practitioner, enjoys listening to music, hanging with friends and trying new foods. This past summer, Jai worked on the Go-To-Market team at Sana, a Forbes AI 50 startup.

Ryan is a sophomore at Harvard living in Cabot House studying Economics and Philosophy. From Buffalo NY, Ryan serves as Sourcing Director for VCG managing the sourcing pipeline and investment referral process. Outside of VCG, Ryan is on the Sports Analysis Collective board, and enjoys playing golf and watching football and basketball.

Mizuki is a sophomore concentrating in Economics and Government on the Data Science Track. Mizuki joined VCG to explore her passion for startups, hoping to learn more about what it means to be a founder and what it takes to be an investor. Previously, she served as the Associate Director for Valor Capital Group. Beyond VCG, Mizuki enjoys running, finding new coffee shops, and philosophy. She also serves as the Deputy Chair of the Institute of Politics’ Governance Lab and spearheaded a AI Governance research paper at the HKS Mossavar-Rahimi Center.

Rishi is a junior in Eliot House concentrating in Economics and Computer Science with a secondary in Molecular and Cellular Biology. His interest in venture came from his experience working as an engineer at several biotech startups in high school and college. As VCG’s Director of Diligence, he oversees the club’s efforts conducting market research and due diligence for partner VC firms. Beyond VCG, Rishi enjoys working out, trying new restaurants, and watching TV. He will be interning at Citadel next summer.

Maxwell is a junior concentrating in Neuroscience with a secondary in Computer Science. As VCG’s Director of Recruitment and Marketing, Maxwell facilitates the comp and onboarding process, designs sponsorship packages, and manages the organization’s social media pages. He is passionate about all things startups, particularly fintech, healthcare, and AI-driven solutions. In his free time, Maxwell likes playing basketball, biking, listening to house music, and hanging out with his friends, family, and dog.

Darious is a sophomore studying History and Economics and a proud member of Pforzheimer House. Before Harvard, he served as a Special Operations Squad Leader in the 160th SOAR. Darious is passionate about the startup space, particularly where it intersects with hospitality and the built environment. Aside from VCG, Darious serves on the board of the Harvard Undergraduate Veterans Organization, where he combines his passions for leadership, investing, and long-term impact.
